If you noticed my home page/ journal looks wonky now; it's because yahoo Geocities where I was hosting my image files bit the dust and for some reason they're not adjusting correctly at my new host. I havent' figured it out yet; please bear with me till I have time to screw with the css (of which I know only what I've learned through trial and error tweaking)




Yes, I've been busy subbing, etc. And...dealing with art block, but surely it has not affected writing. I'm 43,000 words into The Fifth Ward, and man, have I learned a lot in the last year and a half.

AND I IS EEEEEEEEEEEEVIL.



After much patient waiting, I have FINALLY made a friend with a German! Everybody meet: She's SUUUUUUUUUUUUPER COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!!!



Lots of people have responded that they are interested in participating in this year's Secret Santa! Hurray!

I'd like to run it like I did last year, keeping it all TOTALLY SECRET TILL THE LAST MOMENT! But, I would like to have the art up earlier this time around instead of running all the way into New Year's hence why I'll be organizing it earlier.

So, if you want in, speak NOW!

Also, this year I will be accepting entries in both art and written forms. Please put love and thought into whatever you make. So, I do ask that besides notifying me here that you want to participate that you send me a note saying what you are willing to make and what you are willing to receive.

Also, I do ask that you think through what you would like to receive and write a journal entry for your secret pal to come find. If you want something with your characters in it, make sure you say so. If you're content with anything-- Christmas themed card, landcape whatever, say so.

When you finish your gift, notify me, and when your partner is also finished, I will notify you both that you may post your gifts (but no sooner than December 10, my birthday--- Christmas season doesn't start till after!!!)

Do keep in mind that your partner is waiting on you and be courteous enough to do/finish it by Christmas. If you specifically want to wait till Christmas day, let me know and I'll check and see if your partner is also up for it.
